Zero

A mysterious new arrival in New Haven, Zero did his best to recruit a competent and reliable team of superheroes; fortunately he was willing to work with what he got. Zero displays surprisingly powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities, which has aroused the suspicions of his teammates.

Mr. Invincible

Born with an indestructible body, Mr. Invincible developed a knack for tinkering with machinery at an early age. He never had much patience for superheroes and never likes to display his inherited talents. But for some reason, he’s decided to befriend Zero and his team, just don’t ask him what his real name is.

Powerline

Once a respected moderately successful superhero, Powerline thought himself doomed to be a homeless wino, until Zero found him and convinced him to give it another try. Once a master of electricity, over the last decade he has lost much of his power.

Ghost

A teenage vagrant, Ghost used his ability to phase through objects to stake out a life on the street as a small time thief. Recent events in his life have convinced him that he may be heading down a dark path in his life.

Blizzard Boy

Son of the world renowned superhero Arctic Avenger, Blizzard Boy does his best to distance himself from his father’s famous reputation. Despite his strong desire to be a hero, he rejected all of his father’s handouts in an attempt to make it on his own.

Quickspeed

Often recognized as New Haven’s worst superhero, Quickspeed is regarded as a nuisance by the public, if they regard him at all. Though his heart’s in the right place, his clumsiness and impulsiveness often get in the way. He goes to school, albeit in his secret identity, with Blizzard Boy and is jealous of the unwanted attention Blizzard Boy receives. He was able to use his friendship with Blizzard Boy to secure a place for himself on Zero’s team, though he would never admit it.

Captain Liberty

Recovered from the Roswell UFO crash site as a baby, Captain Liberty was found by government agents and raised to be the ultimate American super soldier. He eventually became the U.S. sanctioned superhero, Captain Liberty. Since the 1970’s he has been the leader of Aegis, America’s premier superhero team.

Steel-Man

Antonio Steel's family was one of the cornerstones of the foundation of New Haven. He is one of the richest men in the United States and 40% of all technology used in the United States bears the SteelTech logo. He developed a full body tech suit which allows him to fly, gives him enhanced strength, and is stocked with an assortment of weaponry. He is open with his secret identity and is the world’s most famous superhero.

Arctic Avenger

After a college chemistry accident, Arctic Avenger's entire body temperature was brought to absolute zero and thusly destroyed; he found he still lived in an evolved state, as an incandescent nucleus. He was able to control water and temperature and constructed a body out of ice, though it is not necessary, it is purely for aesthetic value. Although no rookie to superheroing, he is the newest member of Aegis and is considered a rookie by the big leaguers.

Aquana

Aquana belongs to a race of undersea humanoids who reside in the massive undersea kingdom of Pacificopolis. She is the daughter of a Pacifican nobleman and, as part of a peace treaty with the United States, has become an AEGIS member and Pacifican representative of the United States against her will. She is understandably very bitter about her situation, and, coupling this with her naturally fiery temper and short fuse, makes no secret of her distaste for her current state.

Samson

Samson is an immortal who claims to be the actual Samson of Biblical fame. He has had numerous adventures, most of which he would gladly boast about given the chance. He has a short temper and often flies into murderous rages when provoked. He has a strong distrust for women and abstains from alcohol and cutting his hair, as per his pact with God.

Super Nova

Super Nova has been on Aegis longer than anyone else, save Captain Liberty and Graviton Doctor. He has made a career out of being a superhero despite not being as popular as Steel-Man or Captain Liberty. Although considered uninteresting by his teammates, he is an accomplished artist and pianist.

Guardian of Infinity

Danielle Ryker was only 21 when she was called by the Forever Council, a group of cosmic beings dedicated to protecting the universe from anything that may threaten it. The Council bestowed upon her the title of Guardian of Infinity. The Guardians of Infinity have traditionally also been member's of AEGIS since the groups inception.

Graviton Doctor

Isaac comes from a middle class family, was raised in the Midwest, and attended university in the 1940's where he earned a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics. He attained his powers in an accident during trials of an early secret government particle accelerator. As a result of the accident, he ages slowly. Nearly a century old, Graviton Doctor was one of the founding members of Aegis.

The Celestial

The worlds oldest and most respected superhero, there seems to be no limit to what The Celestial can do. In 1969, she inexplicable left earth and was nearly forgotten until her recent return, making headlines across the entire world.

Wreck-Lass

Little is known about Wreck-Lass. She was recently rescued from a mysterious, privatized military compound and now trains with Zero in an effort to become a famous superheroine.
